Flowers are 8 cm wide in domed trusses, vivid purplish red with dark red markings. Leaves glossy. Flower buds are red during the winter. Plants are very nice and regularly compact, height and width of the shrub is 1,2 m in 10 years. Flowering time is mid to late May. Hardy variety up to -24°C.
