Serviceberry is a kind of fruit-bearing shrub belonging to the family Rosaceae, naturally occurring in the areas of North America. Due to the taste and health qualities of the fruits as well as the decorative look of the shrubs throughout the year, they are very popular in Canada and are becoming a promising novelty in European countries. Fruits are mild in taste, sweet, purple and dark blue. It's fruting from mid-June to mid-July. Habit loose, upright. Reaches about 2-5m in height depending on variety. The shrub is completely resistant to frost.
