Larix kaempferi 'Diana' - Japanese Larch

A large shrub or small tree with an irregular crown and strongly twisted shoots, it grows to approximately 5 meters in height after 10 years. Its blue-green needles turn intensely yellow in autumn, and the plant is particularly decorative in winter. It requires fertile, well-drained soil and sun; it responds well to pruning and looks best as a solitary specimen in a prominent location.
