Kristian's Pink - Rhododendron hybridum

Variety of Finnish Rhododendron Collection with high frost resistance and attractive colour shades. A variety with brown-red flower buds and violet-pink flowers. It blooms profusely and very long due to flowers sterility. Young increments are very attractive because of its silver nap. Leaves are elliptic, dark green. Slowgrowth variety, after 10 years reaches 60 cm height and 1 meter width. Blooms in May. It requires shady location to minimize a risk of sunburning the edges of the leaves. Frost hardy down to -32°C.
